Setting User Preferences

 

When you have logged into Octopz, you may make changes, corrections and additions to your preferences:

 

Login to Octopz to be taken to your Meeting Room List.

 

Click the Admin button at the top of the screen.

 

Select User Prefs from the drop-down menu to open the User Preferences dialogue box.

Changing Your Profile

 

In the User Preferences dialogue box, click My Profile.

 

Add or correct any Profile information by entering it in the appropriate field.

 

When done, click Save Changes.

Changing Your Password

 

. In the User Preferences dialogue box, click Change Password.

 

Enter and confirm your new password in the appropriate fields.

 

Select and answer the two required Password Hint questions.

 

When done, click Save Changes.

Setting Your Time Zone

In the User Preferences dialogue box, click Time Zone.

 

Click the arrow to see a drop-down menu of available time zones.

 

Click the time zone you want.

 

When done, click Save Changes.

 

Note: Meeting Zone Administrators have the option to override some preferences, such as the ability to select a Time Zone.  If you are unable to change any setting, please contact your Meeting Zone Administrator.

Setting Time by Using Your Computers Clock

In the User Preferences dialogue box, click Time Zone.

 

Click the box beside Use my local computer time. A check mark will toggle, enabling or disabling this feature.

 

When done, click Save Changes.

Let Octopz Automatically Apply Daylight Savings/Summer Time

In the User Preferences dialogue box, click Time Zone.

 

Click the box beside automatically apply daylight savings/summer time .  A check mark will toggle, enabling or disabling this feature.

 

When done, click Save Changes.
