Marking up a Document

Every Meeting Room contains a variety of useful Markup Tools that can be used to revise and markup documents.

 

Markup Tools

 

Pencil

Pencil Tool Select the Pencil Tool, then click and drag on the document to make freehand markings.

 

Line

Line Tool Select the Line Tool, then click and drag on the document to create a straight line.

 

Shape

Shape Tool Select the Shape Tool, then click and drag on the document to create circles or squares.

Text Tools

 

Text

Text Tool Select the Text tool in the options panel, click and drag the cursor to create a text box in the document and type your note in the text box. To add more text in a different location, simply move the cursor to a new position, then click and drag to create a new text box, and type in the text.

 

Notepad

Note Pad - Select the Note Tool, then click on the location in the document you wish to leave a note.  Type your note in the white area at the bottom of the note, then click Post. Your note will be automatically  name, date and time stamped.  Subsequent notes may be added to any Notepad simply by clicking in the white text box, entering the text of your note, and clicking Post.

Selection tool

 

Use the Selection Tool to resize, move or delete an object or text you have added to the document using the Markup Tools:

Options Panel

 

Use the Options Panel to choose shapes, line thickness, line color, and fill color.

 

Shape_Select

To choose between circular shapes and square shapes:

Click the Shape Tool.
Click Shape Selection in the Options Panel.
Highlight the appropriate shape in the drop-down menu.

Line_Thickness

To choose line thickness

Click the Pencil, Line or Shape Tool.
Click the Line Thickness icon in the Options Panel.
Highlight the desired line thickness in the drop-down menu.

Line_Colour

To choose line color

Click the Pencil, Line or Shape Tool
Click the Line Color icon in the Options Panel.
Click the desired color from the choices offered.

Fill_Colour

To choose fill color:

Click the Shape Tool.
Click the Fill Color icon in the Options Panel. 
Click the desired color from the choices offered.
