Note: With the microphone turned on, speak in a normal voice.  If the Volume Indicator is constantly in the red zone, turn the volume down.

Using Headsets

We strongly recommend that you use a headset when using VoIP in a Meeting Room. Please note: If a headset is not used, acoustic echo may result.  In addition, sometimes when three or more participants are using VoIP, latency and lag may become an issue.  In this case, we would encourage users to revert to a phone call.

Reducing Speaker Echo

If you must use speakers, you may configure your Flash Settings to reduce speaker echo:

Right click on the microphone icon to see a drop-down menu.

In the drop-down menu, click Settings

Click the microphone icon.

Click in the box beside Reduce Echo until a check mark appears.
