Administrator:
Is able to create and delete Host and User accounts, create and update Host and User information, change User status, change passwords and view all Meeting Rooms in a specific Meeting Zone.
Guest:
Guests are Registered Users who may enter any Meeting Room to which they have received an invitation from a Host or Administrator, at the time specified. When they Login, Guests see a Room List of the Meeting Rooms they may currently enter.
Host:
Creates Meeting Rooms and participates in any Meeting Room to which they are invited by another Host. Hosts can invite Users to participate in Meeting Rooms they have created, as well as edit and delete those Users’ privileges. Hosts can view the Meeting Rooms they've created or are invited to attend.
Interactive Content:
Octopz also lets you work interactively with a wide variety of rich media formats, including Flash and video formats such as SWF, AVI, MOV, MPG and 3D files such as DAE.
Meeting Room:
An area of the Meeting Zone in which colleagues can securely collaborate on and archive work dealing with a specific project.
Meeting Zone:
The area of Octopz that contains all of your organization’s Meeting Rooms. In order to enter a Meeting Room within a Meeting Zone, you must be a Registered User and have received an invitation from a Host or Administrator. If you are not a Registered User, please see your Octopz Administrator.
Registered User:
A Registered User (also called a User or an Active User) is anyone who is registered to use Octopz. Users may enter and view the contents of any Meeting Room to which they have been invited, at the time specified by the Meeting Room’s Host.
Single Visit Users:
Receive a one-time invitation that allows them to enter one specific Meeting Room. The invitation must be used within five days of receiving it. The invitation expires when it has been used, or if it is not used within five days.
Static Content:
Octopz allows you to upload and work with a broad range of popular document formats, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, jpgs, gifs and pdfs.
