Using VoIP

With Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Octopz lets you talk to other Users in the Meeting Room through the microphone and speakers on your computer rather than a separate telephone line:

To Turn on VoIP

1. Click the on button next to the microphone icon.

To Turn off VoIP

2. Click the off button next to the microphone icon.

We strongly recommend that you use a headset when using VoIP in a Meeting Room.

Please note: If a headset is not used, acoustic echo may result. Also, when three or more participants are using VoIP, latency and lag may become an issue. In this case, we would encourage users to revert to a phone call.
